The evening meal was first class as was the breakfast. We also really liked the position of the hotel across from the village green.
We found the bed in the lovely bedroom a little too soft for our tastes but this is no-one's fault but rather our own need for a firmer mattress.

The immediate impression walking into the hotel was one of freshness, cleanliness, comfort and pleasing decor. This was borne out by our spacious room and excellent shower. We arrived back early from the function we were attending on Saturday evening and found the bar/hall a very pleasant and comfortable place to sit, read and have a drink. Breakfast was very good.
As stated above, the breakfast (juice, fruit and cooked) was very good, but for a hotel which prides itself on its food, perhaps something more imaginative than sliced bread toast could have been served!
